EMAS (Expanding Maternal and Newborn Survival) is a health research project run by Jhpiego (NGO arm of Johns Hopkins University). They needed a robust database solution to store and analyse the data collected from field.
Our Role
- Developed the database application with reporting capabilities as per given specifications
- Created data collection app for mobile devices so data can directly be fed into the system from field
- 100% use of open source technologies and libraries, including database (MySQL) and charting libraries (HighCharts)
- Maintenance and feature upgrades
